I just crunch them up and toss them in a skillet with some butter and the walnuts (or slivered almonds, or any kind of nuts really) then just toast for a few minutes and they make a tasty, crunchy topping in place of croutons. I learned this from my mother in law! :)Ranee Brokawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17265311060997791656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964660014718272744.post-58628622620418016422012-05-11T17:15:44.702-05:002012-05-11T17:15:44.702-05:00Thanks, Vicki! I talk to Christ more when I'm in the garden than any other time in my life. Thanks for stopping by and talking!lesleyzellershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14240488081589861469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964660014718272744.post-62263455672851538302012-05-11T17:13:46.863-05:002012-05-11T17:13:46.863-05:00That sounds good! Just yesterday when I was working in the garden I thought of how many times in the bible they talk about seeds and sowing and pruning. It all became so real to me then. As I was planting and praying my seeds grow I kept thinking about having Faith like a mustard seed. When you see the size of seeds that really takes on a whole new meaning. Can't wait for my salad garden to grow!Vickileeanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964660014718272744.post-19733032218022510372012-05-11T10:37:46.829-05:002012-05-11T10:37:46.829-05:00yum! my favorite salad is spinach with grilled chi...yum! my favorite salad is spinach with grilled chicken, strawberries, toasted walnuts & ramen noodles with poppyseed dressing. can't wait to try your new ideas!Ranee Brokawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17265311060997791656noreply@blogger.com
