Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread
Yea! Another food post. For those of you that have tried my cinnamon roll recipe, you'll fall in love with this one. It's better than the cinnamon rolls, easier and faster to make!
Use all the ingredients in the roll recipe minus the hot roll mix. The dough for these is Rhodes frozen rolls! Take out a bunch (I used 28 and used a bread pan,) and thaw just long enough to be able to cut into fourths but not completely thawed. You'll have to get your hands dirty, but that's all part of the fun. Grab a 1/4 stick of butter and rub it all over the pieces then get more butter and coat some more, do this until you've used the entire stick.
Next sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts (click here to view original cinnamon roll recipe), then roll around to coat all the pieces. Next put in a pan with tall sides and pour the caramel mixture (from roll recipe) over the dough. Pop it into the oven and cook until golden brown (not sure the time on this, I forgot to watch the clock, just make sure the center is cooked through!) Let cool about 20 min. and cover with icing (again from the roll recipe.)

Homemade Hot Wings & Blue Cheese Dressing
So, obviously this blog has not been a priority but I'm back. And I welcome you back with a recipe! I tried making homemade hot wings for the first time and they were a success. If you like Buffalo Wild Wings or any other wing place, you should try making your own. They are REALLY easy and quick to make, especially if you buy the sauce! So here are some pics to entice you.
How to make Hot Wings.
First you need to cut the wing meat into the wing section and drummette section, as well as remove the tips.
Then lightly dust the wings with a mixture of a little flour, sea salt, freshly ground pepper and a little garlic salt. Fry the wings in batches, for 12-15 min. each batch. Take the wings out and put on a paper towel.
If you're making a lot of wings, it works really well to set up a double-broiler and heat the sauce. This way all you have to do is dunk the wings in the sauce and put on a plate. Otherwise, just microwave a little and pour it on. Time to eat!
I bought a basic buffalo wing sauce and then made a sweet bbq as well as a caribbean jerk sauce.
And, you can't eat hot wings without some blue cheese dressing. Here's the recipe I used.

- 6 oz. crumbled blue cheese
- 3 oz. plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup buttermilk (or more to desired consistency)
- 3 tablespoons seasoned rice wine or white wine vinegar
- 1 T fresh lemon juice
