Google reader no more

I subscribe to a gazillion blog via google reader. I love it because I can read blogs on my phone through the reader app.

Unfortunately, like most good things, it's time has come to an end. I'm now working on adding all my favorite blogs to bloglovin. It has been a process so if you have any tips, like, if you know how to import your reader blogs to bloglovin, please share with me.

And, if you follow this here blog in reader, here's a handy little link to add mine to your bloglovin: Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So there's that. Also, I have like 7 posts in draft mode and hope to finish them up soon, including our Easter, first weenie roast on our land and some others. We'll see.

Happy Tuesday.

  1. I'm so frustrated with this Google change. I love Reader.

Several friends told me to go through Feedly so I think I'll move all feeds over there. It is super easy.

  3. Yes, I switched over to bloglovin from Reader, and it was fairly painless. I still miss Reader, though!

  5. Yeah, mine was just a click of the button to Bloglovin, if you do what the reader up there said. :) But then, I had my GoogleReader set for only showing new posts...so I had a TON of expired blogs on there. That is what is taking me forever right now. lol.

  8. I gave bloglovin a try yesterday and really prefer Feedly--it's more silimar to Google Reader than bloglovin...I might be biased to Feedly because it is what I went to first though...but you should give it a try!

  9. I imported all of my Reader feeds to bloglovin. They had a link that said, "Import blogs from Reader" and I just followed that. What's frustrating is that I have all of my blogs in reader under categories that I made (People in real life, fashion, photography, ppl I met at Blogher, adoption blogs, etc.) and none of that carried over into bloglovin. They're organized alphabetically, not by the categories I've made. That's a MAJOR bummer over here. :/
