My Cat. The Killer.

So, Eric walked in the front door and told me there was something I needed to see. Pistol, our cat, was hunting a mouse. Now, I'm a little torn here. I don't want a mouse in my house, so I wanted Pistol to catch it so it wouldn't come running across my kitchen floor. However, I also don't want to see the cute little thing die! Mice really aren't that cute from a distance, or up close for that matter, but, when you're staring one in the face when you know he's about to die, he kind of looks like a little Disney creature that could talk to you. And if he could talk to me, he certainly would be asking me to save his life. Instead, Eric and I watched and caught the tragic event unfold in our neighbors backyard. Scroll down at your own risk! (By the way, Eric took most of these pictures. I started to take a couple and then the mouse ran at me. I screamed, handed Eric the camera and watched.)

Packed and Ready to Go

I super excited! We will be leaving for Jamaica tomorrow and it's all I can think about. We are set with passports, tickets and swimsuits! Here are my top things I'm looking forward to:

1. The Beach, the water and the atmosphere (ok, so that's three but I don't care!)
   
2. Gourmet Food: Feathers, Heliconia and even the Cabana Grill!
   
3. The Nudie Beach...j/k won't be visiting that one!
4. A Casa Bonita like experience for adults (you raise a little flag by your beach chair and they bring you whatever you want!!!) all you can eat and drink...all the time!
   
5. Catamaran Cruise, Bob Marley and Blue Mountain Coffee.
6. RELAXING!

That said, I'm packed and ready!

This time a week from now we will be on our way to Dallas, where we will depart to Jamaica!!! Woo-hoo! This next week we will be getting our fill of favorites that we won't be able to have in Jamaica, not that we won't mind the trade-off! Day 10 I woke up at 4:30am and was in the ER by 7:45 and was diagnosed with a kidney stone, the 2nd in my life...and hopefully the last!
